Vortex Innerspace Heavy Duty Utility Pump Model 460-G 460 GPH

This is a heavy duty utility pump made by Vortex Innerspace, the makers of the legendary diatom filters. This pump is designed to hang on the inside corner of an aquarium or sump to transfer water through a filter or to other tanks. The pump is NOT submersible. This self-priming pump has centered bronze bushing to allow for longer life. Aeration is another major factor in keeping active healthy fish, so Vortex has also equipped this pump with a maximum aerator to aid your existing air supplies. Pumps are equipped with an extra water port that is perfect for dipping fish, draining off small or large amounts of water. Pump flow rate is 460 gallons per hour. There are many uses you can come up with. An optional float switch can also be used to control water levels. The pumps are loose packaged. 120 volt, 60 hz. power.
